That back to back to back Quinn is a no go, he's a bust. |

The question is Dahlin's agent, whose partner is Eichel's agent, playing games with Dahlin's contract because of Eichel situation. |

Not really how it works. Each player is an individual case. It's in everyone's best interest to get a contract done. You don't (frank) with a team because another guy who reps another player on that team has to figure out a medical scenario. It's unprofessional at best. |

I've heard similar. Hopefully they mutually terminate his contract before the season starts.

That would be a surprise. I think JJ and Murray will start the year in Rochester. I'm not totally sold on Murray but JJ could get a few games this year. Rusto looks like the 3rd line center and I can see Vinnie and Asplund as his wings. |

#1. Let’s say Eichel passes the physical, has the Injury healed?

I doubt he passes. He's showing up to take the physical in order to not be in breach of his contract, nothing more.

1) No. He gets put on IR.
2) If they name a captain, most likely be Okposo but I don't really care. Maybe Anderson? LOL.
3) Yes, Dahlin will get his deal. The longer he goes unsigned makes me think it will be a bridge.
4) Skinns might get 20.
5) Yes, there will be a surprise player to make the roster. My guess is a dman, Samuelsson beats out Bryson.
6) I think I answered that with #5.
7) Goaltending gets them to last.
8) I hope it's 6K and Anderson. If 6K has a solid camp, keep him on the roster, get him 35-40 games. Dell belongs in Rochester.
9) Rusto for 3rd line center and Girgs for 4th line. Just waive Eakin.
10) Mitts-1st line C and Cozens for 2nd line C.
My $.02. Good blog Hank.

from vogl:
“We will be going in a different direction, but we are very excited about our new adventure,” Rivet told The Athletic, adding that further information will be coming soon.
In addition to Peters and Rivet being disappointed about moving to one hour, their contracts expired over the weekend. They decided to move on.
“I offered them new deals,” said Mark Preisler, PSE’s executive vice president for media and content, “and they decided they didn’t want to come back.” |

pham on gr mentioned a dreger podcast stating eichel got some other opinions and they all agree with him on disk replacement...followed that up by saying that according to dreger, "the sabres might be warming up to [jack's] idea"...pham was careful to stress "if this is true" |

A giant middle finger to Tim and Kerry.
They, however thought the Instigators were signaling a #1 sign to them. |

They were going from a 2-hour show to a 1-hour show. There's almost zero doubt those contracts were for less money, and nobody knows how much of a pay cut they were asked to take. It may very well not be worth their time. Depending on the kind of following they've made over the years, they probably could start their own podcast and make almost as much money.

you may be right or they might be overvaluing their worth...
if they do start their own podcast, who's gonna pay their two star guests--dreger and freidman? |

Buffan19 - I think your 100% correct.
Their salaries were reduced and a pod cast is most likely.
Maybe have Duane the angry fan have a segment.
It really was unlistenable and unwatchable.
Baller, another solid blog. I feel like you fished thru couple Sabres comments in the last blog.....
Samuelson beats hagg....
Hagg was a throw in from the viking55 trade right?
Something about getting less compensation without taking him?
Donnie likes Samuelson, I see some decent minutes coming his way. Not 6th defenseman minutes |

They suck ass and will continue to suck ass on a podcast.
I'm surprised they got paid to do that show in the first place.
